"Solid WiFi for the Price"
Overall, the network performance has been solid. The WiFi is fast and stable most days, though I did notice a few random drops after updates. For what I paid, I’m still happy with it and feel like it’s been a good value.

"Good at first, but scaling was a bit frustrating"
It worked well for us in the beginning, honestly. Basic stuff was fine and I didn’t have many complaints. But once we started trying to scale things up, it got annoying quickly. I’m not sure if we just hit the limits of what it’s meant for, but it definitely became more of a hassle than I expected.

Overall, it was helpful and got the job done, but it did take a little longer than I expected. I appreciated the support, though, and by the end I felt satisfied with the experience.

"App freezes way too much"
The mobile app keeps freezing on me, and the login fails more often than it should. I was just trying to check my network quickly, not spend time fighting with the app... really frustrating.

"Keeps Crashing After Updates"
I’ve been using this controller for a while now, and every time there’s a new update, it starts crashing again. At first I thought it was just a one-time issue, but after the last few updates over the past couple of weeks, it’s become really frustrating. It’ll work fine for a bit, then suddenly crash right when I need it. I really hope this gets fixed soon because it’s making the whole experience unreliable.

"Pricey and Not Worth the Hassle"
I bought this from ui thinking the higher price would mean a smoother experience, but I ended up feeling kind of trapped after setup. It worked okay getting it running, but then support and little add-ons started costing more than I expected. For what I paid, I thought the overall experience would be a lot better. I don’t see myself buying from them again anytime soon.

"Fast Shipping, Even If I Lost Track of the Timing"
I ordered from Ubiquiti and the shipping was really quick. I’m sure it shipped the next day, or maybe it was the day after, either way, the tracking updated almost right away. It actually showed up earlier than the date I thought it was supposed to arrive, which confused me for a second but was definitely a nice surprise. The box was in good shape too, no issues there. Overall, happy with the whole thing

"Great ecosystem, but the setup needs work"
I like how everything works together once it’s up and running, and the ecosystem is solid. But the setup process was way fussier than it should be. For something that’s supposed to feel seamless, the company really needs to take more responsibility for making onboarding clearer and less frustrating...

"Actually Helpful UniFi Docs"
I was setting up some UniFi gear the docs on Ubiquiti were easy to follow. Not every page was perfect, but most of the steps had clear screenshots, and I didnt have to go digging through forum posts for every little issue. I found what I needed qUbiquitickly. For once, the official documentation was actually useful.

It does what it’s supposed to do, so I’ll give it that. I just assumed it wouldn’t use much power, but nope, it seems power hungry. If you’re planning to run it for long stretches, I’d keep that in mind.

"Feels secure, though the privacy settings could use some work"
Overall, it feels secure to use, which is probably the main thing I care about. I’m not exactly a tech expert, though I did once spend an entire weekend trying to fix my router only to realize it was unplugged, so take that for what it’s worth. The privacy settings are okay, but I wish they were a little easier to understand. Some parts feel like you have to click around too much to figure out what’s actually turned on or off. Still, it gives me enough confidence to keep using it.

It worked really well for about a year, so I was happy with it at first. Then the ports started failing one by one, which was definitely frustrating lol. I reached out to support and they were okay, but nothing amazing.

"Good hardware, frustrating software"
I’ve been happy with the hardware overall, but the ui.com software has been getting on my nerves lately. It feels like basic settings are tucked away in odd places, and simple changes take more clicks than they should.
The app can feel sluggish at times too, and some updates seem to move things around without making them better or easier to find. I’ve caught myself Googling how to do things that really should be obvious in the interface.
In the end, it does work, but it’s not a smooth or enjoyable experience. My personal take is that the hardware is solid, but the software makes daily use more frustrating than it needs to be.

"Handy for remote management, but a little rough sometimes"
Well... I mainly use ui to manage a few sites remotely, and when it’s working smoothly, it’s really convenient. I can check on devices and make quick changes without having to drive out there. That said, the dashboard can be slow to load at times, and I’ve had devices show as offline even when they’re actually fine. The alerts also feel a little inconsistent. Overall, it’s not bad, but it definitely feels like it could use a bit more polish.

I was so relieved by how quickly it worked with my Switch. There was one small hiccup at first, which was a little frustrating, but it sorted out quickly and overall I’m happy with it.

"Replacement works, just took a bit"
I had to go through the RMA process after the issue came up, and after a few emails it did get approved. It took longer than I was hoping, especially since I needed it for my home office setup, but the replacement is working fine now. Support was polite enough, I just wish they had been a little quicker with updates along the way.
